Air Show

WoW!!! What a weekend! We took the kids and went to the air show out at the base this weekend. Aidan spent the night with us on Friday night then we met up with Ketan, Missy and Emily and headed to the base. We hiked from the base gym parking lot across the base to the flight line. Then we called Missy's sister, Michelle, to sit with her and the kids, Lexy and Michael Alan. The boys were excited to see all the planes and watch them spin in the sky. They were even more excited to horse around and chase each other!!! The United States Air Force Thunderbirds in formation One of the piolts waving as they head down the runway. My favorite part of the Air Show was the FREE concert by Aaron Tippn!! We were up close and Eddie loved dancing!! Here is Aaron Tippin Eddie is really enjoying the concert!! There are more pictures on the link to the NEW Saucer Family Website found to your left on the blog. They are in the 2008_March album.

29 Minutes to Dinner

I went to a Pampered Chef party last fall and the cookbooks were on special. I ordered one with new healthy recipes and one called 29 Minutes to Dinner. We LOVE them both. I was sceptical about the 29minutes book, but we have not only LOVED the food, it's taken less than half hour to make, even with 3 boys under age 5 screaming, fighting, and calling me away from the kitchen!! Here is a picture of how I get groceries while Daniel is TDY. Here are some of our favorites: Toasted Angel Hair with Sausage and Peppers Chef's Corner Notes: Toasting the pasta provides a nutty flavor and an interesting color contrast. Toasting the pasta in the same pan as the sausage imparts flavor from the sausage to th pasta. Grilled Tilapia With Pineapple Salsa Beef Tenderloin With Mushroom Ragout We liked this one so much I bought my dad the micro cooker so he could make it after reading the blog. The next pic is Tangy Pepper-Pecan Brie from the Season's Best book. Finally one fromt he It&#
